HBO recently unveiled the premiere date for the eighth and last season of Game of Thrones. Now Sophie Turner, who plays the role of Sansa Stark in the hit show has revealed that she was not allowed to wash her hair for several seasons. Turner told InStyle that the rule of not washing the hair came into place in recent seasons. The makers wanted to portray the character’s growth and she had to look aristocratic young girl.
She said, “For the first few seasons I was allowed to wash my hair because I was an aristocratic young girl. Towards season five, they started asking me to not wash my hair and it was really disgusting … for a couple of years I was living with pretty greasy hair.”
She also revealed that she found a way to wash her hair during the last season and so she was allowed to wear a wig.
The final season of fantasy series Game of Thrones is finally coming back on April 14, 2019.
Taking to its official Twitter handle, the makers have recently revealed that the final season of the GOT will consist of six episodes and each episode will take the level of thrill and suspense a level up.
