Laurence Tureaud better known as Mr. T was born on May 21, 1952. He is an American actor known for his role as B. A. Baracus in the 1980s television series The A-Team. He is recognised for his trademark African Mandinka warrior hairstyle, his chunky gold jewelry and his tough guy attitude. He starred in a reality show ‘I Pity the Fool’ and from then on his catchphrase has become the same.
And on his birthday, we share with you one of his funny commercials. This Snickers ad featuring Mr. T is at its hilarious best. But it was banned as the ad was found offensive to gay people. In the spot, Mr. T harasses a speed walker and calls him ‘a disgrace to the man race!’.
Although the ad film was meant to be fun, humour it seems it is highly subjective. Check out the video below of Mr. T in a Snickers commercial.
