An off-duty Pizza Hut employee scared away not one but three armed robbers and thus thwarted the robbery. Demetrius Carnegie was visiting his sister at the Philadelphia Pizza Hut branch where they both work and that’s when the three suspects stormed with handguns and started demanding money. Instead of complying with the robbers he fought back and same angered suspects and they leaped over the counter and started threatening everyone with weapons. The same didn’t deter Carnegie and he pushed them back and flipped shelves of pizza boxes over them. “Through my head, it was just ‘go into security mode’ and take care of what I gotta take care of,” Carnegie told Fox 29. “Honestly, didn’t know if they were real or not but I had to take my chance because anything can happen after they got the money so,” he explained.
