Rani Mukerji plays a schoolteacher in the movie who is suffering from Tourette syndrome, and her class act in depicting the disorder has bowled over Twitterati.

Tourette syndrome is a neurological disorder that causes patients to have sudden and uncontrolled movements or sounds are repetitive in nature. These sudden movements or sounds are generally called as nervous tics or just plain tics and are quite common in people. Jean-Martin Charcot was a French physician and neurologist who studied this disorder and named it after one of his patients, Georges Albert Edouard Brutus Gilles de la Tourette. Rani Mukerji’s character braves this disorder to become a schoolteacher and starts teaching underprivileged children in a school that does not wholly accept and embrace them.
