In one of the unique opportunities to present your ideas on global level, Google in partnership with known film-makers of Bollywood and Hollywood wants you to showcase your perspective of the developing India through your lens. The idea of the project, ‘India in a Day’ is to exhibit one’s standpoint of the world around oneself. ‘India in a Day’ could be anything from your daily morning routine to a grand wedding in the evening shot in a feature-length documentary.
Well-known Indian directors, Anurag Kashyap, Zoya Akhtar, Canadian film-maker Richie Scott, Canadian film-director Richie Scott are coming together to materialize this. (Also Read-Incredible India: Open up to the serenity of North East with this amazing video)
Earlier in 2010, a similar documentary, ‘Life in a Day’ was made from 80,000 YouTube submissions and 4500 hours of footage which came from 192 countries. All the shots were happenings around the world on July 24. The film was then premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on January 27, 2011. This new idea is a step to take the older design ahead further. On October 10, our video or photograph could be a part of a film that talks about the Incredible India.
