In a small gesture of respect, a video of a Pattaya club playing Indian National Anthem has gone viral. The most famous Indian night club in Thailand, Nashaa, played our national anthem to pay tribute to brave Indian troopers who were martyred in an attack by Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama and also the Indian Air Force pilots who got martyred later.

The video is proof that the emotions of patriotism and feeling of losing someone dear to the motherland are binding forces everywhere in the world.

40 CRPF troopers got martyred on February 14, Thursday after a suicide bomber destroyed the convoy of vehicles carrying the security personnel on the Jammu Srinagar National Highway. The incident was followed up with an air-strike on February 26, conducted by Indian Air Force on terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed at Balakot in Pakistan.

On February 27, there was a counter fight between India and Pakistan in which Indian pilot Abhinandan Varthaman’s plane crashed in Pakistan. He was shot down by the Pakistani Air Force near the village of Horran. It is claimed by local villagers that Varthaman was identified as an Indian pilot by the Indian flag on his parachute.

On February 28, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan announced the release of Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman as a “gesture of peace”. Indians celebrated the return of their beloved hero from Pakistan on March 1.
