With royalty written all over her, Mukesh Ambani‘s daughter Isha Ambani recently featured on the cover of a magazine and looked every bit stunning. After her fairytale wedding with Anand Piramal last year in December, Isha for the first time spilled beans before the media on her “wonderful” wedding.

Opening up about her involvement during the preparations leading to her big day and how deeply submerged was she in calling the shots, Isha revealed in an interview to Vogue India, “During the wedding my mom was CEO and I was chairperson. She and dad did all the hard work. Thankfully, we ended up liking the same things, so that made it a breeze. I didn’t go to a single wedding meeting. I was never someone who dreamt of how my wedding would be, yet it was wonderful in more ways than I can imagine.”

While Vogue India described her in the caption as, “She’s born to a fabled last name. But this modern-day heiress is determined to create her own legacy. Girl-to-watch Isha Ambani Piramal (@_iiishmagish) talks to Vogue India editor-in-chief Priya Tanna (@priya_tanna) about work, life and the future, and why, for her, India is at the heart of it all,” (sic) while sharing the cover of the magazine, Isha herself spilled a few personal beans. Talking about her wedding day and the heartwrenching bidaai ceremony, the industrialist’s daughter said, “It was a very emotional affair for everyone in my family. I was emotional too but everyone around me would cry all the time. I only cried at my bidaai because I felt some peer pressure as everyone else was crying, especially my parents.”

Isha married Anand at the Ambani residence, Antilia, on December 12 and the lavish wedding functions and mehendi and sangeet were attended not just by the top notches of Bollywood including Aishwarya Rai, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and others but also international celebs like Hillary Clinton and Beyonce.
