Lady Gaga made a surprise appearance at the Deep From the Heart: The One America Appeal charity concert at Texas A&M University on Saturday in front of five former American presidents and the photo is going viral. The pop star posed with Jimmy Carter, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama at One America Appeal fundraiser for those affected by hurricanes in areas like Houston, Miami, and Puerto Rico. The five ex-Presidents came together and raised USD 31 million for disaster relief while Lady Gaga performed to her song ‘Million Reasons’ at the concert. Lady Gaga’s photo with the men garnered a lot of social media attention also. George Bush, 41st President of America also took to Twitter joking that the would have sung with Lady Gaga if asked.
His tweet received over 79,000 likes and a lot of positive responses to which Obama replied that garnered further garnered the attention of the internet users. Sharing a picture form the event, Obama tweeted saying, “I’ll let you and @ladygaga handle the singing, and we’ll handle the donations. There’s still time to give: http://oneamericaappeal.org.” A photo posted Lady Gaga, who performed at the fundraiser also went viral with over 1.5 lakh ‘likes’ and 39,000 retweets. She tweeted saying, “Nothing more beautiful than everyone putting their differences aside to help humanity in the face of catastrophe. #OneAmericaAppeal”.
