Lionel Messi doesn’t show his feelings a lot but when he expresses them, he sure does make a statement that people won’t forget soon. In a pre-season friendly match between Barcelona and Roma, Lionel Messy ended up having a headbutting competition with Roma’s Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa.

Lionel Messi usually maintains decorum on field avoiding most situations that could end with disastrous results but his latest altercation wasn’t one of those times. Messi not only headbutted the Argentine player but also gripped his left hand around his neck and pushed him away from him.

Probably the most emotion you would have seen from Messi was when he cried when Argentina failed to win the FIFA World Cup in 2014 against Germany. Messi was given a yellow card in the game against Roma from threatening the defender and Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa was given a warning as well. Here’s the video of the gruesome incident.
