Set against a political backdrop, the movie revolves around power struggles within a ruling political party in Kerala and shows style and substance both as it unfolds the mayhem that ensues when the leader of the party passes away. The movie, whose key plot rests in the illegitimate funds driving political parties (in this case – the drug mafia), is bankrolled by Antony Perumbavoor and written by Murali Gopy.
