Debutant director Laxman Utekar‘s Luka Chuppi‘s trailer is out and fans have already gone crazy over fresh pairing, Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon‘s impressive performance. The effective comic timing of the supporting cast including Pankaj Tripathi, Vinay Pathak and Aparshakti Khurana combines to make a fun-filled laughter riot as suggested from the 2 minutes 49 seconds long trailer.

While some fans called it “full of masti, dhamaal”, some others termed the storyline as “Live In Saparivar” but all encouraged, to those who had not yet watched it, to do so immediately.

The film is produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner of Maddock Films. Kartik and Kriti shot for the film in Mathura and had shared some pictures on their Instagram pages earlier when they were shooting for the film. The desi rom-com will take the audience from Mathura to Gwalior and Agra. While Kartik essays the role of a star reporter from a local TV channel, Kriti plays the character of a Mathura girl who is back in her hometown after studying in Delhi for some time.

The story revolves around the star reporter who wants to marry the love of his life (Kriti) but the girl wants a live-in relationship first to decipher if they are really meant for each other. They get into a complicated relationship and what ensues next is the whole middle-class family drama as the family gets involved, forcing the couple to pretend like a married jodi. The wedding set up and the couple’s conflicts will definitely take you back to Bareily Ki Barfi or Pyaar Ka Punchnama. The trailer guarantees entertainment itself as it hints at a storyline around modern-day relationships in league with current generation’s relationship problems.

Luka Chuppi will hit the screens on March 1, where it will lock the horns with Sushant Singh Rajput and Bhumi Pednekar’s Son Chiriya.
