American couple named Kelly Castille and Kody Workman is the famous Instagram couple. Their page named ‘positravelty’ is filled with their vacation pictures and the adventurous sports that they take on during their vacation. Now, the couple has come under fire for posing on the edge of the infinity pool at Bali. The stunt looked ‘dangerous’ and ‘foolish’, as per the netizens.

In the picture, Kelly is seen hanging bravely from the edge of the infinity pool, held up by Kody who is standing inside the pool. The couple took the picture in Bali, where the duo is currently based. As per the Daily Mail, the picture was clicked at the Kayon Jungle Resort in Ubud.

However, Kelly and Kody have defended the picture saying that they took every necessary precaution and hence, it was not dangerous.

Speaking to Fox News, the couple said, “The reality is that we felt safe, stable and confident for two reasons. First and foremost, there is another pool below that we cropped out of the shot for dramatisation. Secondly, we thought about this photo for days, considering the angles and potentials.”

🇺🇸 Our greatest strength in life, our most important principle, is discernment. Only you can know your body, feel the space around you and understand your capabilities. We would all do well to remember this, knowing that not every action, style or path we witness through others is or should be, replicated. At the end of the day we are to hold ourselves accountable for the decisions that we make. ※ Thank you @kayonjungleresort for an unforgettable experience! ※ ※ #balitravel #couplesgoals #ilovetravel #bestplaces #baligasm #ubud #balitravel #novios #junglelife #viajeros #wetravel #travelinspo #adventurous #indonesiaparadise #speechlessplaces #infinitypool #welltraveled #earthpix #baliholiday

After facing the backlash from the netizens, the couple released the statement, “As for safety, we are all responsible for ourselves at the end of the day. The reality is that we felt safe, stable and confident for two reasons. First and foremost, there is another pool below that we cropped out of the shot for dramatisation. Secondly, we thought about this photo for days, considering the angles and potentials. We are both in good shape, we know our bodies and in turn, we know our limits.”

They further revealed, “We had faith in each other and trust to pull this off and so we made the choice as a team to shoot it. There is a lip, where the ridge of the infinity pool juts out over the wall where Kelly could get a solid grip and place her weight on her forearms. I held her the entire time and if zoomed you can actually see my grip on her arm. We have both jumped off of waterfalls and bridges much higher than this infinity pool,” he added, “so the height aspect wasn’t a concern for us at all.”
