Vijay Sethupathi’s rise to the top has been one of the stories of Tamil cinema in recent times. The actor’s choice of projects and his excellent histrionics have come for widespread praise although his last outing came for some criticism, stepping into a domain that his not particularly his forte. Having realised that, he has come back into his element and Mellisai has all the makings of being yet another feather in Vijay Sethupathi’s hat. This film is a crime thriller and there is romance too. The makers have to be praised for coming up with such a sleek trailer for the film and there is not a single dull moment throughout. Actor Arjunan, a promising young actor known for his comedy timing is also a part of the cast and plays Sethupathy’s friend in the film.
