Christmas is one of the popular festivals in the world and is dedicated to the birth of Jesus Christ. The festival is celebrated on 25 December every year.  Christmas Day is also the start of the Christian liturgical year, which initiates the 12 days of Christmastide and the same goes on to until January 5. On this holiday, Bollywood celebrities took to social media to wish their fans, followers and everyone around a Merry Christmas.

American singer Nick Jonas, who recently got married to actress Priyanka Chopra, took to Instagram and shared a lovey-dovey picture with his wife and pet Waldopicassojonas. He captioned the image as, “Dogs and Christmas.  Wishing you all the best with your loved ones. @priyankachopra”.

To name a few, Virat Kohli, Shilpa Shetty, Anil Kapoor, Shah Rukh Khan and many others tweeted Merry Christmas.

Christmas is a huge festival of joy and love, and is celebrated across the world. Many people start preparations at least a month before and markets get full with gift and decor items, lights and trees etc. Many offices, educational institutes, government offices and nongovernmental organizations remain closed on this day. The day is also known as Feast day of Christ and is the day of great importance and significance for Christians across all nations. We wish you all Merry Christmas!
