Mouni Roy has been winning hearts of many ever since she was seen in Ekta Kapoor‘s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (2000-2008). She has now come a long way and recently made her big Bollywood debut with Gold where she was seen opposite Akshay Kumar. Out of the many who are proud of Mouni, her close friend Shakti Mohan recently shared a heartfelt post for Mouni and expressed her love for her. A while later, Mouni reposted it.

Shakti took to her Instagram to share a heartfelt post for Mouni along with adorable pictures of the two. Recently, Mouni featured in a song titled, Gali Gali Mein Phirta Hai from KGF: Chapter 1. The film performed well at the Box Office and the actor was also praised for her dance. The film also featured Yash and Srinidhi Shetty in pivotal roles.

Recently, Mouni attended the Star Screen Awards and graced the red carpet in a Robert Abi Nader’s gown. She bagged an award for her Bollywood debut in Gold, which featured Akshay Kumar opposite her.

On the professional front, Mouni will soon be seen in Dharma Productions’ Brahmastra. The actor has finished shooting her part in the film. Brahmastra also features Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in pivotal roles. The film is being directed by Ayan Mukerji, who happens to be one of Mouni’s close friends. After being spotted by the paparazzi a number of times, rumours about the two dating have been doing the rounds.

Before starting her career in Bollywood, Mouni has worked in Ekta’s Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and then rose to the fame with TV shows Naagin and Naagin 2.
