Veteran actor Shashi Kapoor left for heavenly abode and today the last rites were performed as well. The actor breathed his last yesterday at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. All across the world, fans are mourning over his demise and are posting their tributes on a social media platform. Many took to Twitter to offer condolences.  Bollywood stars including Bollywood’s Shehenshha Big B also posted a very emotional post. Mumbai Police too paid a unique tribute to the actor via micro-blogging site Twitter. Mumbai police who is known for taking references from Bollywood movies posted the moving tribute and this time they took the reference from the famous Deewar movie. They recognized the honesty of role played by Kapoor in the movie.

The Mumbai Police tweeted: ” The ‘Deewar’ between the ‘Good’ and ‘Bad’ that shall always stand tall till many generations to come #RIPShashiKapoor.”  Mumbai police referred the gentleman actor as Deewar between the Good and Bad. The actor had played the iconic role of police officer Ravi Verma in the movie and the famous dialogue “Mere paas maa hai” is also from this 1975 blockbuster movie.

Kapoor who was seen in blockbuster movies like Satyam Shivam Sundaram, Namak Halal, Kala Pathar among others has left a deep void in the filmdom that cannot be fulfilled.
