Los Angeles: Director Bong Joon-Ho has just created history after winning the award for best original screenplay for Parasite at the Academy Awards. This is the first-ever Oscar for South Korea and social media users across the world seem visibly ecstatic for the win. However, what captured the attention of many, was Bong Joon Ho’s adorable and pure reaction to winning the highly acclaimed award.
While receiving the Oscar, Bong Joon Ho explained how much this Oscar meant – “We never write to represent our countries, but this is the very first Oscar to South Korea.”
After making his acceptance speech, Bong then handed over the mic to Han Jin Won and then looked down at his Oscar, smiling and giggling to himself in joy.
