Pakistani cricketer Umar Akmal who is one of the controversial cricketers is enduring tough times from past few months since his public outburst against Pakistan cricket team’s coach Mickey Arthur and now he was declared dead by social media peeps. Yes, you read it right. The 27-year-old batsman is garnering headlines for the same but all the news of him being dead are fake. He even posted a video to reinstate that he is very much alive and healthy. He urged netizens to not to spread fake news.
He tweeted, ” “As salaam alaikum guys (Peace be unto you). By the grace of Allah I am safe. All the news doing the rounds is fake. You will see me live at the semifinals. And I request everyone not to spread news like this. Thank you very much.” As Akmal said, he did turn up for the semi-final of the Pakistan’s premier domestic T20 tournament and scored 35 out of 35 balls Faisalabad on Wednesday.
