The controversy on sedition case against Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union president Kanhaiya Kumar and other students has been going on for a couple of months and with the Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani giving clarifications on the police action has not gone in their favour. Initially the media did try to malign the image of JNU students who were allegedly involved in raising ‘Anti-National’ slogans, but soon after the it backfired, they started to support Kanhaiya.

Several videos and articles were published by different media firms and there were national debates that followed up after it. On one hand Smriti tried to clarify the actions taken by the Union government with ‘Authentic facts and reports’, and on the other hand media was trying to clear the video whether Kanhaiya and others raised slogans or not. However there were others who took a satirical take on the whole issue. (ALSO READ: JNU Row: Suresh Raina hails Kanhaiya Kumar’s explosive speech; calls him’true fighter’!)

Known for its youth driven content, ‘The Quint’ has released a funny video depicting Smriti as Radha and Kanhiaya as Lord Krishna in the Bollywood superhit movie ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’. Taking photographs from different social media and putting it the lead’s face, they managed to edit the whole scene of the song “Maiya Yashoda, ye there Kanhaiya” in a seriously satirical manner. As we have seen the video we do not want to spoil the whole entertainment for you. This is video done by quint and we do not take any responsibility of it. Have a look at the video.
