The Tamil comedy horror movie ‘Chandramukhi’ starring Rajinikanth, Prabhu, Jyothika and Nayantara in lead roles is the remake of Malayalam film ‘Manichitrathazhu’ that was released in the year 1993. The film ‘Enthiran’ starred megastar Rajinikanth and the gorgeous actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the lead roles. The Tamil science fiction film directed by S. Shankar and produced by Kalanithi Maran, it was the country’s most expensive film up to that point. It became the second highest-grossing South Indian film of all time.
The Tamil historical fiction movie ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ featured Rajinikanth and B-town leggy lass Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. The megastar enacted and voiced the three lead roles.
