Filmmaker Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy, featuring actors Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt is doing a wonderful business at the box office. The movie has crossed Rs 75 crore till now. Both the actors are being praised for their spectacular performances and it seems like the film has found another fan in Amul. The brand known for its creative ads on trending topics gave its own touch to Gully Boy. It showcased, Ranveer, Alia and Siddhant Chaturvedi, three crucial characters of the film.

The tagline reads, “Apna Time Hai… Khayega.” It got thumbs up from the cast. Ranveer shared the same picture in his Instagram story and wrote, “Ek Number.”

Gully Boy is inspired from lives of street rappers Divine and Naezy. In it, Ranveer played the role of a rapper and Alia was seen as his love interest. Along with many Bollywood actors, Hollywood star Will Smith also praised the movie. He said, “Yo Ranveer congrats man I am loving what you’re doing with Gully Boy. For me, old school hip hop here seeing hip hop all over the world like that I am loving it man congrats Go Get em!”

This is for the first time Ranveer and Alia worked together in a film. Talking about the movie, Zoya earlier said, “It is not a biopic on Divine and Naezy. It is a fictional story. It is inspired by them and their music. They worked with us on the script to make it authentic. There are a lot of things from their life but it is not a biopic.”

On a related note, the actor is currently occupied with the work of ‘83 in which he will be seen playing the role of Kapil Dev. Alia will next be seen in Kalank and Brahmastra.
