Actor Raza Murad, who was last seen in Padmaavat playing the role of Aditi Hydari’s father Jalaluddin Khilji, is now gearing up to make his Bhojpuri debut. The 71-year-old actor will be seen in Halfa Macha Ke Gail along with Big Boss and Nach Baliye sensation Payal Rohatgi. The Bhojpuri film will also cast Andaaz fame actor Amit Verma and Ali Khan.
During the film promotions in Patna, Raza Murad said, “This is a family film and the making of the film is done just like a Bollywood film.” At the same time, actor Raghav Nayyar, actress Shipra Gaur, producer Ramesh Ayyar, distributor Subodh Kumar also addressed the press briefing.
Ramesh Iyer said that the film will be released today (June 1) in 50 cinemas of Bihar. This movie has been released in Mumbai, which is very much appreciated by the audience.
During the promotional event, Raza Murad urged the state government to set up a film studio and frame film policy in Bihar and said that now it is a time of regional films. However, the graph of Bhojpuri films is bigger than the regional and this is the reason that Bhojpuri cinema reach is global.

He further added, “In order to promote regional films in Maharashtra, the government of the state charge entertainment tax but later return the tax to the producers. It also helps the producers there.”
Similarly, the Bihar government should support Bhojpuri films. At the same time, he talked of banning some double meaning songs and suggested to promote good films. He, later on, talked about the film and said, “The making of the film has gone really well and Raghav and Shipra have done a good job. We hope the audience of Bihar will love this movie.”
Patna seems to be a very homely city. I have also liked to come to Patna because it is my city of Gurudev Shatrughan Sinha and without fail every year I take his blessings on Guru Purnima and Teachers Day.”
