Robert Vadra, husband of Priyanka Gandhi, lost his cool today and attacked a reporter who asked him questions about his alleged illegal deals. The son-in-law of Gandhi family, Vadra was clearly frustrated before he attacked the reporter of ANI (Asian News International). The land deals concerning Vadra was the flavor of the season as even Prime Minister Narendra Modi questioned the hasty deals during the 2014 Haryana Assembly Elections. But former Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda dismissed all the allegations, terming them as baseless.

Just before the shameful incident took place, Robert Vadra was sensibly answering the question asked about health. All hell broke loose when the ANI reporter asked Robert Vadra about his involvement in the illegal land deals. The reporter asked Robert Vadra, “How would you comment on the investigations into the land deals?” The question didn’t go down well with the ‘Royal Damaad’ and before indulging in physical assault he irritatingly said, “Are you serious?” at least four times, if not less.

The matter escalated when the reporter tried to get Robert Vadra’s byte another time when he said that the question relating to the land deals were being asked repeatedly. The reporter was told to switch his camera off. Vadra was clearly infuriated and said, “Are you nuts?”

The first on the agenda for the newly formed Haryana government was to analyse the alleged land deals in the state. With both Rajasthan and Haryana under BJP’s governance, will the noose around Robert Vadra be tightened? Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje already launched a probe earlier and the new Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar also took the task of illegal land deals as the first thing after coming to office.
