In a bizarre incident, a Russian man stripped naked at the Domodedovo airport before boarding the flight. As per the report on Moscow Times, the man stripped because he believed that clothes made him ‘less aerodynamic’. However, the naked passenger was caught by the airport security staff while he was trying to run to the jet bridge and later was detained by the police at the airport.

A passenger flying with the same flight told REN TV, “He shouted that he was naked because clothing impairs the aerodynamics of the body. He flies with more agility when undressed.”

The whole incident was recorded on the camera and was later shared on social media. In the video, the nude man could be seen standing in the line along with the other passengers and later, he was handcuffed by the police. He was seen sitting on the floor in front of the police before leading his back against the walls.

Interior Ministry spoke to the Mirror and said, “After the police had detained the offender, he was taken to the airport’s medical room and then was hospitalized in a medical facility.”

As per the reports, the man showed no signs of being drunk.

Earlier, in another on-flight incident, a woman traveller named Emily O’Connor, who was travelling on Thomas Cook flight, was threatened by the airline staff of being ousted from the plane if she didn’t cover herself up. She was wearing a crop top when she was about to board the flight.

Taking to Twitter, she posted her picture in the same outfit and wrote, “Flying from Bham to Tenerife, Thomas Cook told me that they were going to remove me from the flight if I didn’t “cover up” as I was “causing offence” and was “inappropriate”. They had 4 flight staff around me to get my luggage to take me off the plane.” (sic)
