England wicket-keeper Jos Butler took to his Twitter account recently and shared an unseen photograph of former England captain Nasser Hussain walking in nothing but a towel and smiling at the camera. While it could have been embarrassing for Nasser Hussain if people had taken the picture for a skin show or an awkward moment but trust Twitterati to come up with something even better than that. The picture went viral for apparently totally different reasons as Twitterati were not bothered about Naseer Hussain’s nakedness but was more concerned about his likeness to Russian President Vladimir Putin. Twitterati got confused by the photo that Jos Butler shared on Twitter and were trying to identify whether it is Russian President Vladimir Putin or England cricketer Nasser Hussain.
Jos Butler shared the picture of Nasser Hussain and captioned it as, “Does anyone recognise this former England captain?” and tagged England cricketers Ian Ward and David Lloyd in his Twitter post. However, Twitterati was confused as many thought that the man in the picture resembled Russian President Vladimir Putin. While the picture was definitely of former England cricket captain Nasser Hussain many thought that it was Russian President Vladimir Putin who often is photographed in unconventional settings. The photo was reminiscent of the blue-black dress confusion that occurred on social media a couple of years ago. Sample a few tweets from the Twitterati below. Jos Butler shared the photo on Twitter which quickly went viral and fetched 292 retweets, 3829 likes and 206 comments. However, he failed to provide any context to the photo and it is really intriguing to find former England cricket captain Nasser Hussain walking at a car park barefoot with just a towel on.
