Shah Rukh Khan jumps onto the viral videos bandwagon for Happy New Year promotions

Following his good friend Anurag Kashyap who starred in a viral video in his own spoof, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has appeared in The Viral Fever’s latest video to indirectly promote his latest release Happy New Year. The actor is seen in a spoof of an interview with Times Now’s Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami – a journalist whose TV show is most talked about and the favourite of all spoofers.

In this video titled Barely Speaking with Arnub: Shah Rukh Khan (Episode 1), Shah Rukh Khan is seen coolly replying to a caricature of Arnab Goswami, who tries to grill him to bits. This ‘Arnub’ does not even forget to give a reference to the infamous Rahul Gandhi interview on Times Now, saying Shah Rukh Khan’s most common screen name is Rahul. Although the TVF viral video is humourous, we cannot help but think that Shah Rukh Khan is kind of desperate to promote his film Happy New Year through all communication channels possible before its Diwali release.
