Kill two birds with one stone! Yes, exactly what this spoof video has managed to do. They have trolled Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s two of upcoming flicks – Dilwale and Raees. The makers The Half-Ticket Shows shared this hilarious video on Facebook making a spoof on recently launched trailer Dilwale to turn it into Engineering-Wale…We bet this would bring smile even on dimpled King Khan.
Engineering-Wale is the story of every Indian engineer who remains unplaced. India which is producing engineers in vast numbers every year but fails to provide them employment is subtly mocked. Unlike Rohit Shetty’s Christmas release Dilwale, the grief of engineer is highlighted in a light manner.
Content and lingo of the video is something that is relatable to engineers in India. With Varun Dhawan representing the colourful life of CS engineer to Kriti Sanon playing his girlfriend to Shah Rukh being the ultimate sad engineering student who is mouthing the dialogue “4 saal, 8 semester, 3 backlog!’. The famous dialogue of Dilwale “hum Shareef kya hue…poori duniya hi badmaash ho gayi?” has been changed to “hum unplaced kya hue….poori dunia hi placed ho gayi”. But it is the climax that you must watch as you are in for the funniest surprise.
Dilwale which is going to be Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol’s comeback as a romantic pair will hit theatres on December 18. The movie also got young heartthrobs Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. Meanwhile, King Khan’s Raees will release next year on Eid. It stars Pakistani actress Mahira Khan and talented Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
P.S.: How we wish The Half-Ticket Shows did not mock the MH370 incident. It is not funny and no amount of disclaimer can make it less offensive and not hurt sentiments. Channelizing creativity to bring smile on people’s face to making them remember something as as and horrific are two different things.
