A new song from Amitabh Bachchan movie Shamitabh has been officially released by Eros Now. The song, Stereophonic Sannata, is as weird as the its title. Featuring Dhanush and Akshara Haasan, Stereophonic Sannata has been sung by Shruti Haasan. Unlike the title track, the newly released track isn’t gripping enough. Morevover, it has lyrics like ‘Bye Bye Sonu, Bye Bye Sunidhi‘ referring to the playback singers! The song reminds us of Telephone Dhun Mein Hasnewali song from Hindustani.

However, Dhanush and Akshara show off killer dance moves in Stereophonic Sannata, especially Dhanush.

Directed by R Balki, Shamitabh will see Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush sharing screen space for the first time. As for Big B and R Balki, the actor-director duo will be coming together for the third time. The two have previously worked on acclaimed films like Cheeni Kum and Paa.

Shamitabh stars Akshara Haasan who will be making her Bollywood debut with it. The 24-year-old actress, the younger daughter of Kamal Haasan and Sarika, worked as an assistant director for four years but never felt the need to shift to acting. It was while working with an ad agency that she met Balki and felt she was ready to switch and become an actress.

This will be Dhanush’s second film in Bollywood after Raanjhana opposite Sonam Kapoor. Shamitabh is releasing on February 6, 2015.
