In the latest shocking update in the Sheena Bora murder case, Mumbai’s BYL Nair Hospital claims that the 2012 bone samples submitted by the police to J.J. Hospital do not match the 2015 remains. The Times of India reports that Nair Hospital was critical of J.J. Hospital’s investigation. (ALSO READ: Top 5 theories – why Indrani Mukerjea murdered her daughter)

This claim by Nair could add a new twist to the high-profile murder case, in which media personality Indrani Mukerjea has been charged with murdering her daughter Sheena Bora in April 2012. The case came to light when Mumbai police caught hold of Shyamvar Rai for possession of illegal guns. In the investigation that followed, Shyamvar confessed to aiding the murder of Sheena Bora when he was working as Indrani Mukerjea’s driver. He spilled the beans and police arrested Indrani and her ex-husband Sanjeev Khanna, who helped her in murdering Sheena.

Meanwhile, the Sheena Bora murder case investigation has been transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) after a controversy over who should handle it after the transfer of Rakesh Maria, former Mumbai Commissioner of Police.
