Noted Indian filmmaker Shekhar Kapur recently shared a throwback picture on Twitter, and it got our eyes moist. The photo featured the director with late Hollywood actor and his friend, Heath Ledger. The Australian Oscar-winning star passed away in 2008 at a young age 28. Shekhar Kapur had collaborated with Heath for the 2002 movie The Four Feathers. Kapur took to the Twitter to share a warm picture that took us back in times. He captioned the photo from the sets of action-drama film as, “#HeathLedger and me, with the amazing Bob Richardson DOP on sets in Morocco”. The sight of acting legend would make you nostalgic and give you all types of emotional feels. Seeing Heath who was just 22 during the filming of this film will make you terribly miss the acting god.

Heath was the leading star in Shekhar Kapur directed The Four Feathers, which also starred Kate Hudson, Wes Bentley and Djimon Hounsou. The film had garnered a lot of attention with Shekhar Kapur’s film accused of being anti-British for the portrayal of British Army and the Empire. Nevertheless, he rebuffed the claims and called his film only to be “anti-colonisation”. Heath essayed the character of Harry Faversham, a young British officer in the moderately successful movie.

Currently, both Shekhar Kapur and Heath Ledger are in the news because of biopic films. While the ace India director is set to direct the biopic on young Bruce Lee, the late actor’s documentary-style biopic also launched its trailer. The biopic on Heath Ledger is titled, I Am Heath Ledger that will premiere on May 17th. As for Shekhar Kapur is co-scripting the biopic on Bruce Lee, the martial arts legend and is planned to be co-financed as a part of US, China and Hong Kong group.
