Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra on Thursday, November 15, visited Sai Mandir in Shirdi along with her husband Raj Kundra where she prayed for the happiness and prosperity of her family. The Life in a Metro actress took to her Instagram to share a picture of Sai darshan. She captioned the pic as, “Thankyou my SAI ….for everything 🙏Faith and Patience is the essence and you have taught me that.. Bowing my head in obeisance knowing that my family and I are always protected… 😇🙏 celebrating 100 yrs of #saisamadhi ..today is a Thursday, Sai darshan straight from Shirdi for my instafam 😬🙏”.
As soon as the picture was uploaded, comments started pouring in. Some were happy to see her seeking blessing and there were a few fans who didn’t like her to be photographed. However, it is not unusual for people to consider this as a publicity stunt.
One of the users said, “How nicely famous personalities get darshan… For us it’s only pushing and pulling… Plus… Photography is also allowed… 😊Nice”.
Another one said, “Why cell phone was allowed in the temple premises for other its a crime😠”, “Photography not allowed for the public but celebrities are allowed to do so. What kind of society we live in #discremination #corruption”.
Shilpa replied that “These pictures are not taken by us, but by the press photographer present inside (procured them from him).. just like everyone, we were not allowed to take photos 🙏Om Sai Ram.”
