A wedding function at West Delhi’s Janakpuri hotel Piccadily went haywire and turned into a fight zone after guests thrashed the hotel staff and smashed their crockery. On Sunday, February 10, the friends and relatives of the groom apparently did not like the cold food and created a ruckus in the hotel. As per the reports, the groom friends got drunk and started dancing. After meanwhile, they started misbehaving with the hotel staff. The whole incident was recorded and was shared on social media. The video has taken the internet by storm and is going insanely viral.

In the video, people are dragging, pushing and beating up the hotel staff. Furniture, properties and crockery were broken.

However, the hotel’s general manager denied all allegations and claimed that the groom’s friends misbehaved with the hotel female staff.

Rajesh Batla, general manager of Piccadily spoke to Hindustan Times and said, “The groom and his guests fled without even attending the wedding function. It was past midnight and only around 50 of them were left at the hotel. The groom and his friends got drunk and began dancing. They began misbehaving with our staff. Four of our staff suffered head injuries.”

The police have not revealed the name of the groom or the guests. DCP Bhardwaj also spoke to the leading daily and said, “On the day of the incident, we detained two guests and one waiter as part of preventive action. On Monday, the hotel authorities approached us with a written complaint. We are in the process of registering a first information report.”
