In the days of social media, people are resorting to uncanny ways of committing crimes. From mocking victims on social media to live streaming rape, social media has witnessed some of the most heinous acts. The Cleveland Police are in search of 37-year-old Steve Stephens who posted a video of himself killing an elderly man on Facebook. The victim has been identified as 74-year-old Robert Godwin. The police have asked the criminal to surrender before them. The 37-year-old claims to have killed more than 14 people. He posted the video on Facebook on Sunday around 2 pm. A murder warrant has been issued for his arrest. Also, police have asked residents of the states of Pennsylvania, New York, Indiana and Michigan are asked to be on alert.

The video shows him driving up to an old man and getting out of his car and shooting. In the video, Stephens claimed to have killed 15 people although one death has been confirmed yet. Stephens works as a health care manager and blamed his acts on his ex-partner, Joy Lane who is an Air Force veteran. In the video, he also says that they dated for three years and wished that he never met her. In the horrifying video, he also says that he would stop doing the atrocious acts only if Lane of his mother called him. Joy Lane is reportedly in protective custody. Following the incident, Stephen’s Facebook posts were taken down after it was there for three hours. Daily Mail quoted a Facebook spokesperson as saying, “This is a horrific crime and we do not allow this kind of content on Facebook. We work hard to keep a safe environment on Facebook, and are in touch with law enforcement in emergencies when there are direct threats to physical safety.” While police still have no clue where the criminal is hiding, recent reports say that he used to lure women and kept a pet snake. According to his neighbors, he would approach women with his pet python around his neck and try to lure them.
