Sunny Leone, who is all set to make her foray in south Indian industry with a special dance number with Malayalam megastar Mammootty for action movie Madhura Raja, has been the latest victim of  sexist comments. Recently, the picture of Sunny and Mammootty sitting on a coach had been doing the rounds on the social media but now it has been removed from Facebook. The photo is a particular still from an item song from the film. While many netizens complimented Sunny and Mammootty for their look, few people have sent nasty comments which were directly targeted on both of them.

However, after insulting and sexist comments, the photo has been taken down from the social media. While sharing the picture, actor Aju Varghese wrote, “Akka with Ikka” which literally means ‘sister with brother’.

Recently, she has also featured on Dabboo Ratnani’s calendar 2019. She looked smoking hot in the semi-nude photo. For the photoshoot, she wore a red leather jacket teamed up with the black-coloured brief. She captioned her post, “Here it is everyone!! Love my shot in the 2019 #DabbooRatnaniCalendar @dabbooratnani @manishadratnani makeup and hair by @tomasmoucka” (sic).”

Sunny, whose real name is Karenjit Kaur Vohra, will be launched in the Tamil film industry with the upcoming film Veeramadevi, which is about the warrior queen Veeramahadevi. The historical war movie has been written and directed by VC Vadivudaiyan and is also set to be released in Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada and Telugu languages.

The Indo-Canadian actress, who will be playing the female lead role in the movie, had earlier expressed her excitement to have been chosen for the part, saying she has always wanted to play the part of a warrior. Along with Sunny, actor Navdeep will be playing the male lead, while Nassar and Srinath will appear in pivotal roles.

However, she has faced a serious backlash with the movie posters being burned down South. People in Karnataka are not happy as she portrays the role of a Goddess in the movie given that she is a former adult entertainer.
