Being a woman, I can ask you directly: Are you suffering from PMS (pre-menstrual syndrome, dumbo!) right now? Or are you menstruating right now? Getting those aches and pains that come every month but still are as painful each time? Then watch this video by new viral group Girliyapa! This gang of girls has made an absolutely fun gaana called The Period Song and it really is ‘bloody’ good! It’s the perfect cure for your moods and PMS, trust us! The Period Song is based on menstruation and is a jolly good parody of the Hard Kaur song Char Baj Gaye, Party Abi Baki Hai from the film FALTU starring Jackky Bhagnani. We wonder if Girliyapa has given credit to the original composers Sachin-Jigar for their parody, but creating The Period Song based on Char Baj Gaye is in itself a compliment, we say! Every word of The Period Song rings true for a girl who has experienced it, and every expression of the gang of girls denotes what we feel. And we love the way they give the botal as solution to those period blues!
