People generally have a preconceived notion regarding various concepts. A lot of them are generally direct influence of the media or people around them. Our opinions of certain community, caste are formed during our growing up ages which mostly remains to be our viewpoint of a particular thing throughout our life. Islam has been one such concept about which we have a comparatively negative standpoint. If not hatred for a person following the way of living, but for the religion at large, the main reason being media, which shapes our opinion.

The constant updation about wars and killings caused by radical Muslim groups are one of the reason for it. However, we fail to understand what Islam talks at large and what it teaches its people. To make people understand about increasing reports of Islamophobia, Dutch comedians Alexander Spoor and Sacha Harland  made this video. Hatred towards Islam has increased after recent incidents of Paris attack whose responsibility was claimed by the ISIS. The comedians said, “Muslims have been accused of following a religion that has no place in our Western culture. This made us wonder: What about Christianity? A religion that has influenced our culture greatly?” (Also Read- ISIS not Muslim, people of other faith defaming Islam: Assam leader)

They disguised The Holy Bible as the Holy Quran merely by adding a jacket cover.  And picked a verse from The Bible which read, “If you do not obey Me, but act with hostility against Me… you will eat the flesh of your sons and the flesh of your daughters.” (Leviticus)

Looking at the book people thought it to be The Quran and said that the book propagated violence, but later could not believe when they were told it was The Bible which held those words.
