New Delhi: On the occasion of their 23rd wedding anniversary, Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and husband Robert Vadra set new couple goals as they shared heartfelt posts celebrating their ‘love and togetherness’.

In a beautiful collage with candid photos of her wedding, her mother Sonia Gandhi, brother Rahul Gandhi, husband and children Raihan and Miraya, Priyanka wrote on Twitter, ”A million beautiful moments, love, tears, laughter, fury, friendship, family, two gifts from God, 4 unmatched canine fans and the irreplaceably tenacious wisdom of a lifetime together…. 6+23 years….29 years today….and forever!”

The couple complete 23 years of marriage today, however, their association and bond go way back, which perhaps explains the ‘6+23’ years.

Check out the adorable post here:

Robert responded to the emotional note and wrote, ”Happy Anniversary P. Many years of togetherness has made us grow as one. Good times/tough times have made our lives so much more interesting. Wish you happier, healthier & love filled years. Looking forward to many more years by your side, no matter what comes ahead”.

Over the years, Priyanka has stood like a rock with Robert Vadra as he faced allegations of corruption in land deals and charges of nepotism by the BJP.  See Robert’s post here:

Daughter of the late Rajiv Gandhi and former Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Priyanka married businessman Robert Vadra on February 18, 1997, in an intimate wedding ceremony in New Delhi.

It is said that Robert Vadra first met Priyanka Gandhi through his sister Michelle in 1985 when she was just 13 years old. It is he who later became a strong pillar of support for Priyanka when the Gandhi family grieved Rajiv Gandhi’s assassination.

48-year-old Priyanka officially entered politics as she took on the role of Congress general secretary for eastern Uttar Pradesh, ahead of 2019 General Elections.

Additionally, the couple are doting parents to their two children, Raihan and Miraya. Here’s wishing them a very Happy Anniversary!
