The historic Singapore summit between world leaders U.S. President Donald Trump and North Korea’s Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un has got the whole world talking. The leaders dined together for lunch at the luxurious Capella hotel in Singapore and the menu was a delicious combination of flavours from the East and the West. The dishes complimented the palettes of both the world leaders.
As per social media, there was a three-course menu being served to both the leaders. For the appetizer, a traditional prawn-cocktail was served with an avocado salad, green mango kerabu with honey lime dressing, octopus, and Oiseon or Korean style stuffed cucumber.
For the main course, the world leaders were served beef short rib confit, potato dauphinoise, steamed broccoli accompanied with red wine sauce or sweet and sour crispy pork, Yanzhou fried rice served with homemade chilli sauce or Daegu Jorim which is a Korean dish which entails a soy braised codfish with radish and Asian vegetables.
