Vicky Kaushal and Yami Gautam starrer Uri has created a lot of buzz since the trailer of the film is out. Now, the makers have released the song Challa which is a recreated version of a Punjabi folk song. The music composers have given a modernised tinge to the song which will make you feel energetic and patriotic instantly. In the music video, Vicky and his team of an army are seen working hard to carry out the surgical strike successfully. Well, the song is going viral and has garnered more than four lakh views in less than 6 hours.

The song has been sung by Romy, Vivek, Hariharan and Shashwat Sachdev. The music has been composed by Shashwat Sachdev and lyrics have been penned down by Kumaar. The song will definitely give you adrenaline rush which will make you listen to the song on a loop.

Earlier, while talking about the movie, Vicky told IANS, “When you play the role of a commando onscreen, you feel that they are the real heroes. In our effort to portraying their character, we get exhausted but they are living their lives like that on a daily basis so hats off to them and it’s not easy what they are doing.”

The film is based on the Indian Army’s surgical strikes across the LoC and needless to say, the star cast has done justice to the script. Along with Vicky and Yami, Uri also features Paresh Rawal in a pivotal role. With such a talented cast, expectations are high from the film.

Uri is all set to hit the screens on January 11, 2019. It is directed by Aditya Dhar and bankrolled by Ronnie Screwvala’s production arm RSVP.

On a related note, Vicky made his acting debut with Masaan and received praises for his spectacular performances in films like Raazi, Sanju and Manmarziyaan. On the other hand, Yami was last seen in Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Batti Gul Meter Chalu.
