Eoin Morgan was hit on the head by a nasty Mitchell Starc bouncer during the fifth and final one day international (ODI) between England and Australia. Fortunately, Morgan was batting with a helmet on. England skipper faced only six deliveries before being retired hurt.
Eventually, Morgan could not take further part in the game and James Taylor led England in his absence. The home side was bowled out for 138 with Morgan not coming to bat after being hit.
Australia went on to chase down the required target of 139 runs to win the match by eight wickets and series 3-2. Aaron Finch and George Bailey stitched an unbeaten 109-run stand for the third wicket to see their side home after being 31 for two at one stage. Finch scored 70 off 64 balls, which included 11 fours and a six while Bailey scored 45.
