Ishant Sharma and his rendezvous with uncanny celebrations continue. The lanky pacer was all fired up after India set Sri Lanka a daunting target of 386. Ishant removed opener Upul Tharanga in the first over and gave him an aggressive send-off by walking down to the batsman. But when Ishant got the prized wicket of Dinesh Chandimal he celebrated it in a bizarre but funny way. Also Check- India vs Sri Lanka 3rd Test Day 4 – As it happened.
Once Virat Kohli took the catch at second slip dismissing Chandimal, Ishant started to beat his head. Not once but thrice! This was not the first time Ishant was bit animated. While batting earlier Ishant dished out similar antics but that time he was wearing a helmet.
Interestingly towards the end of Indian innings Ishant had few words with Sri Lankan fielders and umpires had to step in. The pacer was fined 65% of his match fees for breaching Level 1 of the ICC Code of Conduct after the second Test match against Sri Lanka. Ishant had given aggressive send-offs to Lahiru Thirimanne and Dinesh Chandimal. Check out Ishant’s unusual celebration below. (Featured Image: Twitter).
