This weekend marks the start of the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, and Muslims all over the world will observe Ramadan, also known as Ramzan. Muslims all over the world celebrate this holy month by fasting and chanting prayers. The annual observance of fasting is considered as one of the five pillars of Islam.
On this holy occasion we share with you this video of UK Prime Minister David Cameron sending across his message on Ramadan 2014 for everyone. He says, “I want to send my very best wishes to everyone observing the holy month of Ramadan. This Ramadan, I hope that we can reflect upon a key aspect of our shared history: the bravery of those who fought and died for our freedoms nearly 100 years ago.”
