Bangladesh’s One-Day International (ODI) and T20I Captain Mashrafe Mortaza on Sunday surprised locals of Ganderbal village in Kashmir when he played cricket with some of the native cricketers. Mortaza is on a holiday in Kashmir along with his family following the World T20 2016 which recently concluded in India.

The fast bowler while travelling back from famous health resort Sonamarg to Srinagar city stopped at the ground when he spotted locals playing a cricket match.

Much to the delight of fans, Mortaza jumped in. However, fans, at first, were perplexed to see him. But once Mortaza walked into the field, fans could not believe that an international star is amongst them.

Mortaza then played cricket with the locals and also answered some queries of the fans including the infamous one-run defeat against India in Bangalore. The fans then clicked selfies with Mortaza and wished him and Bangladesh cricket all the best.

Now that was quite a treat for the cricket lovers and a story to cherish for the rest of their lives. A good gesture by Mortaza as well! (Feature Image- Twitter)
