Examinations are grueling and cannot be taken lightly because they can make or break our futures. We usually fret a lot and in India exams are given a lot of importance and children who are appearing for their boards are generally spoken in hushed and revered tones. Students stay up late to finish deadlines and jam last minute studies. Peer pressure is another aspect of examinations that often plays spoilsport. However, a new mother in Kansas, US, took the entire hype with regards to examinations to a whole new level when she wrote her finals moments before giving birth to a child. According to a report published in The Independent, Nayzia Thomas, who study at Johnson County Community College is a second-year psychology student and wrote her final examinations while undergoing labour pains. Her dedication is giving new goals to Twitterati who couldn’t help but praise her strength and laud her efforts as her photos went viral.

Nayzia Thomas had hoped that her finals would be over before her due date, but that did not happen and she went into labour during her final examinations. On December 12, 2017, she put up a picture of herself from the hospital bed where she is surrounded by books and typing away on her laptop while sporting a baby bump. She shared the picture on Twitter and wrote, “my mom took this pic & it’s the perfect explanation of my life. yes i’m about to have a baby, but final SZN ain’t over yet.” Mother Shares Amazing Photo of Self-Delivered Baby With His Amniotic Sac on Car Seat

It was very scary, but his father was right there to take over when I went unconscious. We are blessed! AND I’m finishing the semester w/ a 3.5 GPA!”

She again shared an update about her well-being saying that she had to receive a blood transfusion because of the blood loss she suffered but now is heading home.
