The new trailer of Wonder Woman has been unveiled, showing Diana Prince’s training as an Amazon warrior on Themyscira. Gal Gadot plays the title role of Wonder Woman and she does justice to the role of the superhero that is entrusted to her. The new trailer showed more of Diana Prince’s childhood and training on her sheltered island paradise of Themyscira. The footage also shows Hippolyta, Diana‘s mother played by Connie Nielsen introducing her to the weapons that she will later wield – Sword and shield. The adult Diana is shown later being trained in combat by Themyscira warrior General Antiope, played by Robin Wright. Chris Pine makes his appearance in the trailer when crashes on Themyscira and warns danger about the impending danger and a deadly threat to humanity. The movie is based during World War I and Chris Pine plays an American Pilot.

In the new trailer we also see Diana (Gal Gadot) travel to England to help Steve Trevor (Chris Pine) to help him fight against German General Erich Ludendorff (Danny Huston) who wants to use a gas weapon of mass destruction in World War I. The trailer gives ample action sequences where we see Diana/ Wonder Woman use her bracelet, shield, sword and lasso to fight. Some comedic relief is brought on by Steve Trevor’s (Chris Pine) secretary Etta Candy played by Lucy Davis. On March 10, 2017 Gal Gadot had tweeted a new poster for Wonder Woman. Gal Gadot was the highlight of the film Batman v Superman and became a break-out star of the movie. With her first appearance fans have been waiting for her to take center stage in her own movie. Wonder Woman is directed by Patty Jenkins and is the next film set in the DC Extended Universe. Wonder Woman is the newest addition in the range of superhero films.
