Here’s a detailed list of major feature highlights of the new 2015 BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe:
The new 2015 BMW 6 Series Gran Coupe is a car that speaks volumes of style and elegance. And that has been well-achieved with ample usage of chrome and LEDs.
The new 6 Series gets a new redesigned front end which looks a lot more sleeker than the older version. The kidney grilles have been restyled and some brand new sharper looking projector headlamps with LED DRLs have been added.
New muscular front bumper looks well at place and beautifully houses the wide airdam and new LED fog lights. The rear bumper too has been redesigned and comes with slightly bigger exhaust embellishments and high-gloss black decorative moulding.

The side profile of the new 6 Series remains quite the same but the car now runs on some brand new 19-inch sporty multi-spoke alloy wheels, more aerodynamic side mirrors with integrated indicators.
The inside of the car mostly remains unchanged with some minor additions like dual tone upholstery and new stylish LED ambient lighting. The LED treatment is quite smartly done and you can find them fashioning the foot wells, door exits and glove compartments.
Gizmos that have been carry forwarded from the older version include Automatic Climate Control, Air Quality Control, Engine Start/Stop Button and Navigation System. The Multi-function Steering Wheel, Cruise Control and Pedal shifter offers you convenience while driving.
Comfort features will include, Front armrest with storage compartment, automatic AC with 4-Zone control, Electric seats for driver and passenger, electric steering column, lumber support for driver and passenger seats and more.
As for the safety additions the new 6 Series comes with ABS with EBD, break assist, 6 Airbags for driver and passenger, side and front impact beams, traction control, run flat tyres, electric parking with auto hold and Vehicle Stability Control System.
To enhance the driving performance BMW also offers – Driving Experience Control, which comes in four modes Eco Pro, Comfort, Comfort + and Sport.
Under the hood the new 6 Series Gen Coupe comes with the same 3.0-litre, inline six-cylinder, TwinPower turbo diesel unit that churns out 314 PS at 4,400 rpm and 630 Nm of peak-torque which comes into play between 1,500 – 2,500 rpm. The car is paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission and can do a 0-100 kmph sprint in 5.2-seconds with a top speed of 250 kmph.
