BMW India launches special Sachin Tendulkar edition 3 Series and 5 Series

BMW India has recently launched special lot of Sachin Tendulkar edition 3 Series and 5 Series sedans. Limited to a mere 15 units, these cars have been specially autographed by the cricketing legend himself at BMW’s Chennai facility few weeks ago.

During that time Sachin had also assembled a special 5 Series himself with the assistance of BMW engineers. While it is just a speculation but there is a pretty good possibility that the particular 5 Series could be one among these 15 limited edition units.

At the same time the company had proclaimed its participation in PM Narendra Modi’s ‘Make in India’ campaign by announcing 50% localisation of popular BMW cars in India. By doing so BMW India has not only shown its support to the campaign, but has also strengthened its commitment to the Indian automotive market.

Sachin Tendulkar has been associated with the Bavarian carmaker as the company’s Indian brand ambassador for over three years now. But his association with the brand goes way beyond that. Sachin has been an avid fan of BMW cars and presently own his very own fleet of these German machines. His collection includes an Individual edition 7 Series, special 30 Jahre edition M5, X5 M and more.
