A few hours ago we updated you with info on the Micra facelift that was officially revealed in Thailand earlier this week. We also mentioned that the Micra facelift will be launched in India this festive season – however, we now stand corrected, thanks to our sources close to Nissan.
People in the know have confirmed that the facelift seen on the Thai version of the Nissan Micra will not make it to the Indian market. Instead, the Micra sold in India will get a more sober makeover, with minor tweaks to the headlamps, taillamps and plastic parts. The facelift therefore, won’t look significantly different than the current model.
The refreshed version of the India-spec Nissan Micra is expected to launch between May and June, 2013 and is also expected to spawn additional variants that will join the current line-up.
