Hyundai Motor India Reports Record Sales for Third Consecutive Year

New Delhi – Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has achieved a significant milestone, posting its highest annual domestic sales ever in 2024 with 605,433 units sold. This marks the third consecutive year of record-breaking domestic sales for the automaker. Including exports, HMIL’s total sales for the year reached 764,119 units.

Key Highlights of 2024

SUV Dominance: SUVs continued to drive HMIL’s success, contributing a record 67.6% to domestic sales. The Hyundai CRETA emerged as a top performer, achieving its highest annual sales with 186,919 units sold domestically.
CNG Growth: HMIL’s innovative Hy-CNG Duo technology gained strong customer traction. CNG vehicles accounted for 13.1% of domestic sales, up from 10.4% in 2023, marking the highest yearly CNG contribution in the company’s history.
Export Excellence: HMIL exported 158,686 units in 2024, solidifying India’s position as a key export hub for Hyundai vehicles worldwide.

In December 2024, HMIL reported total sales of 55,078 units, with domestic sales at 42,208 units and exports at 12,870 units.
