Suzuki Motorcycle India has announced the launch of the all-new 2018 Gixxer and Gixxer SF range of motorcycles in India. The 2018 Suzuki Gixxer is priced at INR 80,928 (ex-showroom, Delhi) while the 2018 Suzuki Gixxer SF is priced at INR 90,037 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company have commenced dispatches of both these motorcycles with bookings already underway at authorised Suzuki dealerships across the country. The 2018 Suzuki Gixxer range features sporty graphics along with a MotoGP inspired colour scheme. The bike also features the ECSTAR logo and the Metallic Triton Blue paint scheme, which is further enhanced by the sporty Gixxer SF model. The 2018 Suzuki Gixxer range gets a new colour option – Candy Sonoma Red/Metallic Sonic Silver, apart from the Glass Sparkle Black. The 2018 Gixxer range was showcased at the Auto Expo 2018. The 2018 Suzuki Gixxer SF and the Gixxer continues to be powered by the 155cc single-cylinder engine that gets Suzuki’s patented Eco Performance (SEP) technology and comes mated to a 5-speed transmission. This engine is tuned to produce 14.5 BHP of maximum power at 8,000 RPM while developing 14 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 RPM. The Gixxer range also gets fuel-injection and a single channel ABS system as an option. The bike is underpinned by race developed chassis that has been designed by the legendary GSX-R series engineers.
